Other
interesting i-Mode features:
Marquee
In
HTML, there is a feature (mostly for Microsoft's Explorer),
called a "Marquee". This item scrolls text over
the display in different ways. A regular Marquee for
cHTML looks like this:
<MARQUEE>
direction="right" behavior="scroll" loop=20>This
Marquee is scrolling right 20 times.</MARQUEE>
Other
possibilities for Marquees:
-
Direction
can also be "left"
-
Behavior
can also be "slide" (Marquee makes a
sliding movement) or "alternate", where the Marquee
slides backwards and forward.
A
Marquee can be no longer than 64 regular characters.
The
"Blink"-tag.
The
<BLINK>-tag makes a certain text appear and
disappear in intervals.
Take
a look at an example:
<BLINK>Sports</BLINK>
That
is pretty much all there is to it. There is no other possibility
of customizing this which makes this tag an easy one to
handle.
